It has been a longggg time since I’ve written a blog post, ha ha! My last post was back in March of this year, oops! I have been incredibly busy so I thought I would take this opportunity to give you all an update on my life and health in general.
So, where do I start?
Well, first things first – The reason I have been so busy is because my business ‘Gemz By Emz’ has really taken off this year! I have had my biggest and best year of sales, profit and business in 7 years and the past 3/4 months I have been working non-stop on getting Christmas orders out. I have so many more plans for 2019 to help me grow my business even further and I am so excited to share these with you when the time comes.
My health has improved greatly! I had another consultation with my herbalist two weeks ago who informed me that my hormones are now balanced out! My mood and energy are great, my PCOS symptoms are gone, cycles are regular every month, my hair is thicker, skin is clearer, brain fog is gone, memory and concentration are fantastic and I have more tolerance and no longer get irritated. I am due to book an appointment with my GP to see if I can get an ultrasound on my ovaries to see how the PCOS is looking inside, so I will update you on that when I have an actual update to share, haha!
I still have some Vitiligo, although I have noticed it’s practically gone under my arms now and is still gradually re-pigmenting on my neck. I have now started a treatment which might help to speed it up but then again it could do absolutely nothing! So I won’t post about that yet until I’ve finished the course and have some results to share with you all.
I have noticed that this year in particular I am so much more positive than I used to be; when negative things happen or I am faced with challenges I do my best not to worry and to keep the faith and hope and pray for the positive outcome instead. I still get stressed and anxious sometimes which I am still working on but the difference now is that I recognise it and I use techniques to try and get rid of it. I now also push myself to do the things that scare me or make me anxious and I believe this has had a great effect on my mindset too, as every time I do this I feel like I have achieved something.
Next year is the year I turn 30, which I am NOT looking forward to, to be honest! However there are a few changes taking part in my life there as well, which I can hopefully share with you next year! Nerve wracking and exciting times ahead!!
